We are proud to announce the addition of Lee Robinson to our Coaching Team as Director of Player Development.
Lee has played professionally in England for a number of clubs and worked with many legendary coaches that have helped him shape his own coaching and player development philosophy. Wigan Athletic, Crewe Alexandra, and current EPL clubs, Stoke City and Burnley FC, are where Lee spent the majority of his playing career before hanging up his boots to pass on his knowledge through coaching.
Lee has coached in Canada taking Algonquin College to the National Finals in his first year with the team. He has held Head Coaching and Technical Director positions and also run Elite Level Soccer programs in his time North of the Border.
Lee said, “I am really happy and excited to join the Titan Coaching Team. Adam and his staff have already accomplished great things here and I will be a new face with a fresh voice reiterating all the fundamentals that are being encouraged throughout the program. As a coach of young people, my goal is to embrace the players’ strengths whilst analyzing any weaknesses they may have and provide direction to correct and improve these areas of their game. I will challenge the players on various levels but maintain a fun environment for them to enjoy the learning process.”
In addition to his role here with us, Lee is also the new Head Coach of the B03 age group for the PSPL Surf Academy where he will be working with the top players at this age in the State.
Lee holds a UEFA ‘B’ License as well as the NSCAA National Diploma and brings a wealth of experience to our program.
Lee will be working with various teams across our club in the Spring Season and be available for Private Training so that as many players as possible can have the opportunity to work with him. Lee will also be introducing an Elite level training program to our club called EP3 that will be invitation-only and start in January.
We are very excited that a coach of Lee’s calibre has chosen to join our club and we know that he is going to have a big impact on our players and coaches alike.
I’m sure you will join us in welcoming Coach Lee to our Titan Family!
In January 2018, we will be introducing a new, invitation-only training program that is specifically for the elite player. EP3 or Elite Player Performance Program will bring together the most competitive players in our Club and provide them with the environment they need to raise their game. Each session will follow a curriculum that will educate and challenge every player to ensure that they are constantly improving.
This program will be held on Sunday evenings and led by our new Director of Player Development, Lee Robinson, who has recently joined our club and has extensive experience developing top-level players.
Over the past 6 weeks, Lee has been attending various Titan team practices and games identifying players that are ready for this additional training opportunity. All our Head Coaches will be submitting their recommendations to Lee as well with invitations going out by Jan 1st. Keep an eye on your inbox!

The NPSA Goalkeeper Union training programs have been a big success lately and our goalkeepers continue to grow and develop at an exciting rate. Coach Keegan and Coach Nico have been working hard to help our goalkeepers improve their fundamentals and technique. They have been experimenting with several different training methods to see how goalkeepers respond and take in new information and based on the big improvements they have seen in training, our coaching staff are excited to bring you a brand new training initiative that will continue to develop our goalkeepers in the future.
Our next NPSA Goalkeeper Training program will take place once per week on Sundays, for 6 weeks, from January 14th - February 18th. We'll be working at Robinswood Park on Sunday evenings.
In January we will include video feedback for all goalkeepers who participate in our training program! In the past, Coach Keegan has been sporadically giving video feedback to some of our keepers in the training program and the players have been responding well. Everyone learns and takes in information differently, but our coaching staff has learned that our goalkeepers respond better to visual feedback and our staff want to make sure that our goalkeepers are getting the best instruction possible.
Every training session will feature 5-10 minutes of video feedback for our goalkeepers. Video feedback and analysis has become a staple for development at the highest levels and we want to be able to provide that same opportunity for our goalkeepers in our community.
