The B01 Navy Titans had themselves an excellent tournament.  The boys put on a great show in each of their matches.  The boys started off hot with a solid 6-0 defeat over Eastside FC.  Coach Javi and the boys dominated the game from start to finish.  Angel Hernandez and James Miller both had braces in their route victory over the opposition.

In their next matchup, the B01s played to a 1-1 tie against a solid Tynecastle FC team.  The boys had plenty of chances, especially in the last 10 minutes, but couldn't quite find the back of the net.  The result wasn't too discouraging as the boys were confident heading into their final group game.  "The team was on a mission and we knew that we were going to get the job done. These boys play well under pressure, so we're more excited than anything for our last group stage game," Coach Javi said after the match.

In their final group stage game against Kelowna United, the B01 Navy Titans struck the back of the net 5 times in their second big victory of the tournament.  The result took them to the top of the group and advanced to the next stage of the Winter Classic!

The B01 Navy Titans faced off against a solid BSC team in the semis.  Jorge scored a world class goal in regulation to the put the boys ahead, but BSC climbed back with an equalizer shortly after.  The boys were very unfortunate to not have won it in regular time, but the game finished and went to PKs.   After the conclusion of game, the team missed two unlucky penalties and couldn't quite advance to the final.

Coach Javi was pleased with the way the boys played the entire tournament and they showcased their talents very well.  Offensively, the boys put on a show in every match and the games were very entertaining.  They will take this tournament experience into training this week and work to improve heading into the PSPL Winter League.

Our B03 Navy team started off their weekend with a dominating 2-1 victory over FWFC.  The boys were clicking on all cylinders and peppered the opposition for the entirety of the match.  "We played very well and created a number of opportunities.  I was a little disappointed we didn't get 4 or 5, but the boys did well enough to get a result," said coach Lee Robinson.

In their next match, the boys had a rough outing and couldn't quite find the back of the net.  It was a learning experience for the boys as they were playing behind when they conceded an early goal.

The boys needed to get a win in their last match against the group leaders in order to advance, but ended up tying in a 3-3 against WPFC in a classic offensive affair.  Despite not advancing, Coach Lee was pleased with the way the boys competed.  The boys had some grit and clawed their way back twice to keep themselves in contention of advancing.  We are proud of the way the B03 Navy squad showcased their talents against some excellent competition.

Our B03 White team played 3 strong teams over the weekend.  The boys battled hard in each of their games, but failed to advance to the next stage of the tournament.  Coach Keegan was proud of the way the boys played disciplined soccer.  "I think it was a great learning experience for our team.  We found a number of things we need to work on in training, particularly set pieces, but all in all, I think our boys created a ton of scoring opportunities and defensively, our boys were tough to beat. I'm proud of the way they played all weekend and I think the boys will respond in training this week."

The B03 White team will head back to training and prepare for their first Winter League match against LTFC Guerreros.

In the closing week of the PACNW Winter Classic, our Titans FC teams represented our club very well and we are proud of the players for putting on an incredible show.  Our Coaches were pleased with the way everyone competed and will take this experience and use it to tailor sessions to prepare our teams for the PSPL Winter League.
